rtm does not respond via direct message to your verification code.
Unfortunately there have been intermittent issues with Twitter's system in the past that have prevented our direct messages from reaching Twitter users. This problem may be recurring.
Please try unfollowing rtm on Twitter, and then following again.
If the problem continues, please contact us so we know that you're experiencing a problem with Twitter. We'll be able to let Twitter know about the issue (unfortunately if the problem is on Twitter's side, we're not able to say how long it might take to resolve, sorry).
