All contacts are shown by default. To hide contacts that don't have any incomplete tasks:

1. Hover over the Contacts header.
2. Click on the dropdown arrow to the right of the header name to display settings.
3. Click Show with incomplete.

Contacts that are empty or that only contain completed tasks will now be hidden.
