Statistics?

(closed account) says:
I've just been playing with RTM, and it's very easy to use and has most of the features that I use regularly (apart from some more advanced repeating interval choices).

I'd love to see some statistics on what I've completed, something like toodledo: http://www.toodledo.com/

That would be pretty cool, and motivating.

You can search for "status:completed"

For a given selection, a graph of number of items open, number closed, and total number of items, plotted over time.

From this you can see from the graph of items closed how productive you are.

From the number of items open, you can see if your workload is going up or down.

Hi

Is there any update on this?

I would really like to see some statistics on how many tasks in total are on my lists from day to day. Then I could foresee problems with my task lists getting longer and longer and if I should say no to new projects.

Thanks, Kenneth

Hello,

Sorry to necropost, but I thought I would bring up again this issue instead of posting a new thread.

For anyone who uses "Remember the Milk", like me, not only as an organizational aid, but also to help his motivation, then statistics would be great: I have recently stumbled upon Track Daily Goals which uses a very simple system integrated with Twitter, and shows a simple calendar in which you can see whether you have completed the tasks you had for each day. (example here)

Of course more complex statistics would have a lot of other uses; as visualizing how much we are lightening the weight (or viceversa) of our things to do; or else, maybe using the estimated time, visualizing if you actually have time to begin a new project.

Is there still anyone else interested in this feature?

Best regards,

L.

I'm a new user as of today. Statistics were the first thing I thought of when I began creating new tasks, tagging, separating tasks into different lists, etc. Even if RTM can't afford the development time to add this feature, being able to export raw data and plot it ourselves would be lovely.

I would like also to have some reporting capacities : this is highly motivational and also can help to track some important actions.

I have a smartlist saved from this search: "list:1Projects and status:completed". I look at it every so often to remind me of my accomplishments.

I'm interested in this too. The first thing that came to mind after a week or so of using RTM is that I'd like to be able to see, on a timeline, what I have been doing and what is on my plate - in a simple visualization... something like Google's twitter update timeline that displays days across the top indicating number of tweets per day, then a list of tweets on that day. E.g. this link to twitter updates on google for "rememberthemilk"

Thanks for listening,

Tobias

It would be need to have stats always posted in view, for goal setting and reminder of accomplishments;

8 tasks completed today, 14 this week, 25 this month etc
as well, a break-down per list would be awesome.

This idea is considered similar to "Statistics on completed tasks", and all votes have been transferred to that idea.
