Copy a List (Template)

I have an approach which i see no limitations with:
1. create a new list (the target to which you want to copy your existing list to)
2. go to your existing list
3. select all tasks
4. duplicate all tasks (at this point all the selected tasks remain selected, all the duplicate entries just created are NOT selected)
5. move the selected tasks to the target list

Yes. That's how I do it, too. Problem with that is that you cannot duplicate more than 25 tasks at a time (why?). I have some lists containing a lot of tasks and this limitation makes it even harder than it already is to work around this lack of functionality.
