Notes in Task view

I am wondering if there is a potential to add an option to display the notes for an item in the 'task' tab, to avoid an extra click to see them (I use the 'H' keyboard shortcut, but it's still an extra step).
I can understand why having notes in a separate tab makes sense, however the 'task' tab has a small number of fixed items and (at least in my case) is usually smaller than the number of items in the list of tasks (and therefore has a fair amount of white space under it)
I have done a quick mockup to show what I am talking about. You can view it here: http://bit.ly/rtmnotes
You could also include a 'show/hide' button at the top of the notes section to allow it to be minimized for screen real estate if need be.
Cheers,
Nick

+1 and I would definitely love to have some keyboard shortcuts for easier work with the notes.

Just from rolling over a task (without checking it) it shows the 'Task' information on the side. As a developer myself, I am aware of how VERY EASY it would be to have a option is the settings to deafault and display 'Notes' instead IF the user chooses.
If this could be great it would make a huge difference.

The extra click to view notes is the one drawback to RTM for someone like me who uses notes extensively as sub-to-do's (i.e. Morning routine has sub-to-do notes: shower, eat breakfast, etc.)

Supermankelly has a good idea.
Another possibility would be a cursor bubble showing notes associated with a task. This would be quite handy.
