Automatically delete completed tasks to prevent slowdown

Hello,
I've have been using RTM heavily for about a year now and it truly expedited the way I do things.
In the past few months, however, the offline version stopped working and I started to have a lot of slowdown issues. It would take several seconds just to change a due date or switch to another list view.
I think that I found the root cause of my problems, however. I just deleted all of my completed tasks (numbering somewhere in the 2000's) and now RTM is purring like a kitten. The offline version is also working for me now.
It would have been nice if RTM automatically deleted my completed tasks after a set amount of time or was coded so that having a lot of completed items wouldn't clog the tubes.
In the meantime though, I'll have to remember to "take out the trash" every month or so.

I agree on this one. just deleted most of my 1900 completed tasks and things a bit zippier.

Thanks. I'm a new user but wondered if there was a way to show ONLY current tasks on my RTM list, NOT completed ones? Many thanks Philip
