Two-factor authentication

It would be great (and reassuring!) to have the option of enabling 2-factor authentication for login. Authenticator app support for something like Authy would be ideal.

Granted not everyone wants to use google services but they have their own DFA.

Four years later - we're still stuck with insecure password-only authentication. Please can we have two-factor authentication, which in 2024 is well and truly necessary.
