Color Coded Tasks, Tabs, and iCal

Hey!
I know this has been mentioned already, but I agree that colored tabs would be great. Ideally, the colors of the tabs would also show up in other areas too, enabling different sections to be always associated by color.
1. Weekly planner: the tasks listed would be the same as the tab color.
2. Today, Tomorrow, Overdue: the task listed there would also match their tab color.
3. Perhaps you could make sure that the color options available for the tabs at least contain the same colors that exist on Google Calendar. That way, one could match list colors to Google as well.
Thanks!

A similar thought would be to expand the color selections for tasks. I would like to be able to group my tasks by context instead of priority #. (for example - what tasks can all be done at the computer could all be red, the ones for out on errands could be red, etc.) Having more options for colors would be great! (I could probably use a good 10 colors.)

Colored Tabs! Assigning colors to Lists is a simple way of grouping Tabs (in my case according to context). This could be similar to Gmail's colored Labels.

agreed.
however, for arlor, try installing greasemonkey if you are in firefox and getting this plugin:
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/25046
it basically turns the tag cloud into what you are asking, but present all the time.
Cheers all!

Yes please. I'd like to be able to color code my tasks the way I color code my google calendar items. This would let me see tasks for work, tasks for school, etc..
Right now I'm using the priorities to fake this. Then the codes show up on my blackberry, my iGoogle widget, and my google calendar.

+1 for colour coded tabs.
@ Avlor - you can group your tasks by context by setting up each context as a tag. eg "@pc, @home, @work" etc.
Or could use locations depending on how you are defining and using contexts.
