If you use Jira, you know the feature to link tickets to one another. The benefit: let's say one task depends on another. When you completed it, it would be good to see what's next, or have a reminder why this task can't be completed yet. Maybe you can even smart list it by showing only tasks that have no dependency etc. It would allow to keep the todo lists even cleaner.
