Store Links to Local Files in the URL field

The URL field is great for storing addresses of websites that are associated with tasks.
You can also store links to local files on your PC by including file:// and the path to your file. (e.g. file://c:\test\testfile.txt)

It would be so helpful to be able to link to a local document in a task. I often times have documentation that goes along with my task but I want to keep it on my local drive - I don't want to attach it to my task so it gets stored in the cloud. Just a link to local files would be awesome!!

Yes, please! The ability to link to a local document would be a time saving and make my work with RT more efficient.

While this would be good, there are some limitations inherent to it.
- RTM is designed so that you can access your account on any Internet-enabled device. Having a FILE:/// URL would only work on one device.
- Some browsers block FILE:/// URLs be default (this one is easily adjusted, though).
Though not as convenient, a note can be added with the folder path in it. That can then be copied and pasted into File Explorer (for Windows).
