Oftentimes, a task (or sub-task) can only be achieved if a previous one is completed.

In project management softwares, this is called "predecessor". This is sorely lacking in ANY todo list I know. And I've been looking for years.

Adding predecessor would give an edge to Rememberthemilk

Think of predecessor as conditional subtasks.
