I would love this too.

I just started using Slack and the FIRST thing I did was look to see if I can easily integrate it with RTM!

Sadly RTM is a bit behind on this one.

Another vote for this. Big vote. Seems like it would be easy enough to build... :)

+10050! :)

I am using slack a lot and syncing the alarms there with RTM tasks would be awesome.

The point is, people should have only one inbox, for day to day tasks to be manageable. RTM is an awesome inbox if we can sync tasks from other sources into it.

Slack just launched an actions feature that RTM would totally fit in with...

+1 to this idea in general, and +1 to integrating into the new slack actions feature!

If there was an integration with slack actions now they’re available, that would be fantastic

Yes! I'd for sure like integration with Slack. It would be great if I could receive a task list for the day, check smart lists or tags, and add tasks via slack. I guess I'm basically asking to use RTM in Slack :-P

It would be awesome to have Slack integration through the actions feature!

Would buy pro to have it!

I'm new to RTM and just found this idea.
It is 3 years old, has 217 likes and not a single raction from the RTM-Team????
I'm wondering if this is the right application for me.

Will this feature be available this year?

+1. RTM team - when can we get this?

please, please, please consider this! Very cumbersome to have to manually add RTM tasks from things that come up via slack discussions. I use the email shortcode all the time and it seems like it should be so easy to do the same from slack.

I am now working for a company that is an extremely heavy user of slack. I'm having to create tasks in RTM and copy over links from the Slack channel or thread with info tied to the task. Being able to just push it straight into RTM would be fantastic.
