+1 - i'm testing different tools and that's the only reason why i might chose another one

Haha, no way you can use this product if you have to login to their website to accept tasks. Terrible idea. Terrible.

exactly my point - still no solution to this problem?
runeasgar says:
Please fix this.. it totally undermines giving tasks to people with an expectation that it will just show up for them.

Started to use RTM for managing a bunch of projects. An option for auto accepting would be a great improvement for a smooth workflow.
I was about to post this very suggestion. I'm bringing my kids onboard with RTM now, and they kind of have to accept Mom's tasks! lol; It would also be really handy when the hubs and I assign each other tasks. It's not like we're going to say no. Having this option would really streamline the process.

Same issue, making a schedule for my daughter to keep her organized. Not going to happen if they doesn't accept tasks. Need an override. What if this was a manager and a direct report, they do what's assigned to them!
Just a tip for those like me frustrated that this feature still hasn't been added: one workaround is to create a shared list for people you share tasks with a lot. Once the list itself is accepted, everything put there will be shared instantly.
Just for RTM's info: that solution isn't ideal. I use lists differently, and having to put all tasks I share with my wife into a separate list is disruptive enough not to be worth the trouble.
