email notification on task change

Minimally, I would like tasks that I share with others, to be notified by email when I update that task.

Ideally, there should be a notification system, where I can choose triggers ("note added") and the action that should take place ("email me").

This idea is considered similar to "Notification emails (e.g. a new task is received, a shared task is completed or modified, etc)", and all votes have been transferred to that idea.
