How about a widget that went straight to the new task voice entry screen? That way, you could hit the widget icon, immediately start talking and the task would be created in your default list. You wouldn't have to open the app, navigate the menus and deal with all of that hassle. This would be very useful when driving or when you can't focus on the screen for too long.
