Am I the first one to think that far more people would use RTM if their upgraded services were not charged on a subscription basis?

One of the most annoying things about this service (and frankly, the reason I almost stayed exclusively on Evernote for free auto-sync) is that I have to keep paying for it just to use the "cool" features--why not charge up front for a better app and include all the features? Can I get an amen?
