Work around for Sub-tasks

There are many post for subtasks here and it seems to be out of the way RTM handles tasks. A possible workaround would be to have a clickable entry in notes, so a special button should allow to add a note which can be checked at later point of time with time stamp.

What your proposing reminds me of Dejumble's implementation of subtasks. You can click the subtasks handle and it will immediately be displayed with strikethrough text. Clicking in the text area allows you to edit the tasks.
I really liked that implementation, especially the number of unfinished subtasks displayed next to the main task name. The app development is too slow however.
Anyway, I'd love to see that in RTM, especially with notes visible by default when a task is selected.

I think when you have sub tasks you really have is a PROJECT. If RTM creates a project area, users could have the number of tasks that need (with different dates) to complete the project. No matter the amount of tasks needed to complete the project, since there are few projects more complex than others. These have all the features you have now. The date to complete the project should always be greater than the dates of the tasks (logic).
