Do not keep checkboxes checked for tasks - I am accidently completing tasks all the time

This is the single most annoying "feature" in the standard HTML interface.
When administrating a lot of tasks, it's far too easy to forget to uncheck a certain task after postponing it or after editing it. When I later complete/postpone another task, I accidently complete/postpone x other tasks, and if I don't pay attention to the confirmation text, these are changed without a warning.
This happens to me at least once every week. A task that should be there is suddenly gone.
Please provide a better way for handling tasks to avoid mistakes.
Maybe one of these suggestions can help:
- Move Complete/Postpone buttons to each and single row instead of keeping them at top of list.
- Clear checkboxes after any task action (or make that behavior optional through configuration).

I agree this is a major bug. After completing/postponing something, I make sure to look at the status change at the top, then double-clicking on any task that's not chosen. (NOT the box next to it!) Single-clicking will choose that task. Double-clicking will clear it altogether.
The real problem is that the "complete" button behaves differently with recurring task. If you realize your mistake then click "undo", RTM leaves the new one there when you "undo"--resulting in two copies of the repeating task. As long as I've been using RTM, this problem has exists. I otherwise like RTM, so I'd hate to leave. Unfortunately, this would do it.
