Use your current location to show nearby tasks

danep says:

The Android (and possibly iPhone) RTM apps already make use of your current location to show nearby tasks, and (in my case) to filter out tasks that can't be completed near your location.

This is awesome functionality, but why is it limited to the phone apps? With the advent of browser technologies such as geolocation in Firefox, RTM could automatically read your current location while using the web interface! You could also manually set it in case your browser doesn't support geolocation.

This is an awesome idea and honestly boggles my mind why it hasn't been implemented already. Even manually being able to set my location and store it in a cookie would be awesome!

Yes! +2 This would be so useful for people like me, trying to do tasks at several different locations. Too bad this idea is well over two years old (I came here to post the exact same thought)!
