Create New List From Selected Items... and other stuff

Firstly I would like to say that RTM is a beautiful project: the application itself, the community around it, and the staff. (and Scala is a great language ;)
I am suggesting the feature in the, because of the way I use RTM: list represent my projects, while I use tags and smart list to express contexts and the standard Next Actions/Delegated/Someday categories of GTD. This seems to be reasonable for me because the later (contexts and states) are more dynamic, while a task is usually about one single project which won't change, and can be archived after... (would anyone archive his Next Actions list ever?)
Therefore I have the following 3 observations about RTM: Firstly, I feel it as a bit hard to create lists for my new projects. I have to go to `Settings > Lists`, add a new list, go back to tasks, and move and create some tasks to the new list. It would be a great help to have a "Create List From Selection" in the drop-down list. Many times I have some task, lumped together on some "General Obligations" list, and would like to select just some tasks and create a separate project list for them and add the details to it there (e.g. more tasks). After I consider the project finished, I would archive the list.
Secondly, creating lists per projects, and then archiving them... it can make the Settings > Lists dialog cluttered and unreadable because of the many entries. The ability to sort by type (e.g. Smart/Active/Archived/"Locked", showing Archived on the very bottom, maybe hidden) would be great!
Lastly, I also saw requests about creating a new list while importing tasks through e-mail, if it does not yet exists. I really like the idea, and I think it goes hand-by-hand with my above points. I see that it might be a problem that it creates new lists when someone makes a typo... it is easy to circumvent by only creating new list if some token is there in the subject, for example "(New)" at the end, or something.
I would like to know if any of these features will be, or might already have been taken into consideration. Thanks in advance. D

Absolutely yes please! The app is easier than the web interface in this respect.
> The ability to sort [Lists] by type
Spot-on again.
Please do consider

I agree creating a new list on the tasks page would be huge, maybe just a simple +, like creating a new browser tab; or even a key board short cut would be great (more of a power user feature). Thanks
