Some people find this quite tricky. First, just search for some tasks. (If you want to make a new empty list, then just click in the box and press Enter.) Then, click on Save and type in a name for the list. Then you've finished making a SmartList!

Nathaniel, you really don't need to educate the rest of us. All of what you're posting is already in RTM's excellent "help" Q&As. They go over smart lists, keyboard shortcuts, and a great deal more.

I've actually been thinking about writing up some tips and tricks for the blog, so would love to hear about any other features that people found tricky to get started with (both so that we can tell people about them, and so maybe we can improve them so they're not as tricky in the first place :)
