List sharing is not working

Hi, I am using FireFox 2 on Windows XP (SP2), as well as IE7. I am trying to accept a list that someone is sharing with me. Once I accept the list, I'm able to view the items in the list, the tags, etc. just fine.
As soon as I browse away from RTM, or I refresh the page (ctrl-r), and I go back to RTM, I see that I still have a shared list. The tab for the list I accepted is no longer there. I have to go back and accept the list in order to see the contents.
Help! I've been experiencing this for the past 2 days or so. (I did post about this in an earlier topic but I don't know if anyone saw it... and I don't know if my post was really related to that topic.)

I too am unable to share lists. I am accessing RTM through Firefox in the normal way. I have tried to share two lists: 'Work' and a smart list that I created. My contact can see nothing except a blank tab with the name of my smart list. When I search for searchWith:[my contact's user name in RTM], I get no results. He has tried to share a task with me and this did not work either.
Does sharing actually work or is it a complicated joke played on new users?

Actually, list sharing *has* worked in the past. I do have some lists that I shared last year (probably mid or early 2007) so those are working just fine. It's just the lists I'm trying to share *now* that are misbehaving.

Y'all are getting farther than I am. My friend does not even get a message that I wish to share a list with him. We are able to share individual tasks though.

Ok. Here's something weird.
My friend shared another list with me. I accepted that one and the other list that refuses to get shared, and whaddya know.
The new list shares just perfectly fine. The one I keep having to "accept" still won't get shared permanently!
