Date changes with switch to DAYLIGHT SAVINGS time
susanatdotcom says:
I recently was in a different time zone when DST went into effect. when that happened, all of my tasks changed DATES. the times of the tasks were the same but on a different date. How can I keep that from happening ? Does RTM have a fix?
I was working on my Windows 11 desktop when this happened.

Hi susanatdotcom,
Sorry to hear about this. Unfortunately, Remember The Milk doesn't currently support shifting between timezones automatically. When a due date is set in one timezone, the task will be due at the start of that day (midnight) in that timezone. So a timezone change can sometimes cause dates to appear to shift.
To fix your tasks, I'd suggest trying the following in the web or desktop app:
1. Click on the Settings gear at the top right.
2. Click on Account settings.
3. Find the Timezone option and check what it's set to.
4. If it's already set to your home timezone, try changing it to the timezone you were in when the shift happened, then click Save changes.
5. Then change it back to your home timezone and save again. This should reset your tasks and may help get them back on the correct day.
If any tasks are still off afterward, you can search for tasks by updated date (for example, updatedAfter:2026-03-08) to find the ones that were affected during the DST change, and then update them manually.
Your Android app should sync and reflect the corrected dates once they're fixed in the web or desktop app.
