JSON import

regexmilk says:
As a new RTM user, I saw that it was possible to import in JSON format, so I wanted to convert my to-do file (currently in "todo.txt" format) to a JSON file. However, I can't find any documentation on this format. In fact, JSON is only mentioned in the help section under "How to import your tasks from Remember The Milk," and the JSON file is already generated by RTM.

But how do I create this file myself? I exported it to use as a template, but it's quite complex, and all my attempts with simplified templates (only "tasks") failed: invalid data error.

So I'm really stuck with my hundred or so tasks that I can't enter manually.

Luckily, I managed to fix it myself by creating a MilkScript to import my file.

I say luckily because it didn't work by email either, and I didn't get any response from support.

In fact, there's no support anymore; I'll come back to that in my next post...

Hi regexmilk, I'm sorry you had so much trouble getting things imported, and for the delay in our support.

I'm glad that you were able to solve this with MilkScript, but if there's anything else we can help with, please let us know.
