What to do the JSON file I just exported? How to read it in Excel?

helill says:
The backup/export function is in JSON format. From the "get data" menu in Excel, I can only see labels, not my entries actual contents. Does anybody know of a way for me to access info in my export?

Hi helill,
Thanks for getting in touch. It's possible to use Power Query in Excel to parse that JSON file and to import its data into an Excel worksheet. It can get tricky, depending on your Excel version and what you want to do with the data, so feel free to contact us if you'd like more help, a walkthrough, screenshots, etc. I'm happy to help further!
We also suggest a free app like Dadroit to open and to browse your file, because it can help you view/extract data pretty easily without being a developer. 😅
Otherwise, that file format is used specifically for being portable and (in a word) "universal"—other apps can import it pretty easily, that kind of thing. Let me know if I can help with anything else with yours, no matter what you need to do with the data! 💙
