How do i open rtm and close the specific task?

You can get to different views/tasks in the way that you suggest, but you may not be able to narrow in on a specific task in the same way every time.
Once you get to a view your task is in, you may need to press j/k to navigate to the particular task you want, so you can select it and press 'c'.
Depending on your needs that may work. If you're looking to automate this workflow that may not work consistently, though you could maybe tailor a specific search for the task you're looking for?
