API method for subtasks

michael714 says:
Hello,
I can't see any API methods for dealing with subtasks. Is there a way to find all the subtasks of a particular task? Is there a way to find out what the parent task is of a particular subtask? I can see a way to set the parent task for a subtask, but I don't see a getParentTask method. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I am thinking of making my own tree view (outline view) for RTM tasks and subtasks.

Hey michael714 currently there isn't.

If you specify a search parameter in "filter" within the rtm.tasks.getList.rtm method, it will pull ALL tasks that match that search. The API doesn't care if it is a subtask or parent task as in the backend it views all tasks the same.
