GoogleTalk reminders not working

I have set GoogleTalk as my reminder, but have yet to receive any. I gather that adding rtmremind@gmail.com to my buddy list and pending acceptance ( have not received any so far ) is all that needs to be done, or have I missed something?

Tried adding rtmremind@gmail.com to jabber in iChat, but it remains in the " not authorized " status. Someone please :)

I´m embarrassed. I discovered I need to use rtmremind@im.rmilk.com when using Jabber. Sorry.
