I'd love to be able to assign tasks to "non users" - so that I can still keep track of the task in RTM, but know that it's currently pending someone else (and who that someone else is).

At the moment it's only possible to assign a task to an RTM user. I'm using RTM to track my work tasks but most of the thousands of people at my company don't use RTM!
