set a reminder for a specific task?

i am new to rtm. it appears that "reminders" affect all tasks with due dates. i put due dates on most tasks, but only want reminders on a few specific ones....is there a way to do that?

If you do a search this has been asked for many times. There is a Gcal workaround you can search here for but that's it for now.

+1, I need reminders for particular tasks too. And naturally, not every task needs the same reminder. For some small tasks, it's fine to be reminded the day before the due date. For some big ones, the reminder needs to be weeks in advance.
