Marking tasks as completed on a specific date

How can I mark a task as completed on a specific date? For example, how can I set a task to completed yesterday?

You can't. Neither can you change the meta info (tags, location) for a completed task unless you un-complete it first. When you complete it again, it will have today's date. This area could definitely be improved ;-)
