How to setup everyday reminders?

Sounds like you'd have to create another task for the reminder. Set it to repeat every day, then delete it after 7 days.

I think the only thing you can currently do is to have it send a reminder X days before ("7 days" seems like a good choice for you) or the day a task is due. More information in the Help.
Unfortunately, I don't think you could do a recurring reminder on a specific task. In general, I'd think that'd be a lot of reminders! But you could set up a recurring task—"Reminder about such and such"—due a week before the "actual" task and set it to repeat every day and then set your reminders to show up every day. That might be a good workaround if this situation is more the exception than the rule.
