Which characters can start a tag name?

That explains why I couldn't find any others that worked! Because they don't.
I ended up using a special ASCII code (basically a period centered vertically) just for aesthetic reasons. I don't assign these tags that often, so it's not too hard to copy and past the tag from an existing tag.
