Unable to view a collegues published list

Apologies, though I'm unable to view my collegues published (inbox). We were expecting each others lists to appear in Settings>Lists to accept, having set each other up as contacts and published our lists.

Please follow the below steps.

Warning: Sharing means you are letting another person change your list.

Switch to the list you want to work with.
Make sure you have no tasks selected so that the list details box appears on the right.
Click on the 'Share' tab.
Select 'Share with contact(s)'.
Click on 'Choose contact(s)...'.
You will be shown your contacts and groups.
Select the contact(s) and/or group(s) that you wish to share with.
In the status box, click on 'Done'.
You will then be returned to the list you shared.
Your list will be shared with the contact(s) you selected.

I followed the above instructions to publish a static list to my wife. When she logs on to RTM, there is no place where the published list shows up. We tried publishing and unpublishing multiple times. We have looked through the forum, FAQs, and elsewhere, and could not find any solution that works. Does anyone know how an RTM user could see a static list that was published to them?

Published lists will only show up to those people you also give the link.

Shared lists will show up in the account of the contact you are sharing with.
Published lists can only be seen by visiting the URL that is generated.
