bug: smart list set as default list does not show archived items on reload

I have a smart list (@work_NA) set as my default list in RTM, which means this list displays when I hit refresh. However, I've found that items from archived lists do not show up after a page refresh. They DO show up if I click the tab for the smart list.
Here's the search for the smart list in question:
(location:work OR list:w.Any) AND (tag:na OR dueWithin:"2 days of today" OR dueBefore:today) AND includeArchived:true
Background: I use a list for ticklers that stays archived unless I need to add or modify a tickler. Recurring tasks get put on this list so I don't have to see them in my w.Any list; these tasks almost never change and I just need the reminder when checking my next action list. Items from this archived w.Tickler list match the search string above, so should appear in the @work_NA smart list when I refresh. However, I find that I have to click the tab to have them appear.
Can anyone replicate this?
