Vidalia problems

The RTM/Gears combination does not work with the Vidalia security bundle. Things get horribly confused and keep forcing logins and reverting to erroneous aged states. I suspect this is a Gears problem, not RTM directly. If Vidalia (TOR & Privoxy) are switched off, RTM works fine.
