When is the ical feed updated?

I've added the RTM ical feed as described here:

http://www.rememberthemilk.com/help/answers/icalendar/googlecalendar.rtm

Once I change the date on a particular task, how long until the calendar displayed in Google Cal is updated to reflect the new date?

The feed is updated right away, but Google only polls the data every 3-6 hours, so it takes a while for your changes to propagate.

I wonder, is there a way to speed this 3-6 hour time up? I personally like to see the changes immediately to be sure the schedule looks OK.

Hmmm, although those options seemed tempting I opted for an easier solution.

It has a catch though. I suppose I'll post about it separately just in case other people might be interested in it.
