Would like to use a third party app to post to remember the milk...

I have an application launching program called Launchy (http://www.launchy.net/) which I highly recommend to anyone who wants to be able to launch apps and websites at very fast speeds with an great interface.

My question concerns what I would like to do with this program. I would like to use this program to add a task to my remember the milk list. Currently, you can add a url like http://blah.com?test=%s and then whenever you start up launchy and type something in, it can access that site replacing %s with what you've typed. I would really love to get a link that I could access like that to add a task to remember the milk - like www.rememberthemilk.com?task=%s. I was hoping there was a way to do this so I could add tasks directly off of launchy. There must be some way since an add on for launchy exists to add things to the google calendar, which I use quite often....but no add on exists like that for remember the milk and I don't know how to make one.

So, I want to be able to add directly to remember the milk task list, which then automatically syncs with my google calendar as well. Two birds with one stone.

Anyways, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm considering a few task organization programs right now but, if rtm can do this then I'm 100% going to use it!

Thanks again,

Perhaps you could use the rtm command line agent written in perl:

That is quite a useful link, so thank you for it.

Just wondering though, how exactly can I utilize the command line program at that link with the Windows (xp) os?

If I could access the command line commands I think this might work out.....but I don't know much about this.

Any suggestions? thanks again :).

Twitter and IMified are two other vectors for task creation you might exmplore.

As for Launchy, look at this post: http://lifehacker.com/software/hack-attack/take-launchy-beyond-application-launching-284127.php
