Yes, you can use 'now' as a search operator to find tasks based on the specific due time, for example this setup we featured recently on our blog.

So a search like dueBefore:"1 hour of now" could be used as a Smart List or added as a specific criteria to another search and that would filter out tasks that are due outside that 1-hour window.
