Offline not working

Sorry about the inconvenience there!
While the app is offline you wouldn't be able to log in but you should be able to load the web app URL directly:
https://www.rememberthemilk.com/app/
It may be good to test that that's working for you one time at your convenience, for example disabling your Wi-Fi or connection temporarily, then loading the web app to make sure it opens.
Our desktop app is also an option, and the sole advantage there is that it should always open when offline. (In other words, there are no corner cases where it would open a specific URL that would get you to the web app while online but wouldn't work while offline.)
Keep me posted on what you find and let us know if you encounter any issues!
