Sharing Subtasks with Non Paid Users

I have created a schedule for son to follow but he cannot see subtasks unless he is a paid user? Is there no way to add him as a user on my app or buy a family account? That’s quite costly to use pro features across a family if you have to buy it for every member. Please advise if this is how it actually works.

Yes, sharing a list doesn't require Pro but one wouldn't see subtasks (or tag colors) without Pro.
We don't currently offer a family account but we appreciate your feedback there as well, and I've passed that around the rest of the team.
