Simplify moving task to a subtask in another list

oneself says:
Hi,

If I want to make a task into a subtask that is not in the same list, I need to follow a multiple-step process, which includes: moving the task into the other list, locating it and the destination parent task, and finally dragging it in. This is very tedious. Especially if I need to do it with multiple tasks. I wish there was a way to set the parent task from directly within the edit task page. Possibly by searching or picking recently used tasks.

I add a tag (say call it makesub) to the main and required subtask(s), then change the view to the makesub tag and I can then see only the tasks that I want to change, when complete delete the makesub tag from the tasks.
I agree it would be better to have a way of doing it within the edit task page but this workaround means you do not have to move tasks around in lists and perhaps loose where they should be.
Adding and deleting tags is relatively quick and easy.
