How to add note when entering a new task

How do you add a note when you're entering a task?
What I'm doing now is really tedious:
- enter my task
- it gets buried deep in a list somewhere
- I back up from where I was to the top level menu thingie
- pick the magnifying glass seearch thingie
- pick "new search"
- type in some of the words I *just* typed to enter the d***n task
- click on the task
- finally I can punch the + and enter my note
I'm guessing there's got to be a better way, so I can enter my note while I'm entering my task. But I've not found it; where's it hiding, please?

Most directly in your workflow, you can tap on the gray "Task Added" popup "notification" at the bottom to open the task directly after adding it. Then you can get right to the + to add the note.
More generally, while it's not possible to add a note when adding the task directly in our apps, you can use our email service to add a task with a note simultaneously.
