Locking screen on iPhone

No, this isn't currently possible, sorry. Maybe the closest thing if you're on iOS 6 would be to use Guided Access while in Remember The Milk so you wouldn't "be able to" leave the app?

another option I have used is to take a screen shot in RTM and then make that my lock screen photo. It doesn't allow me to check things off, but it does allow me to take a quick look at my list. If the list is very long, it doesn't help much, probably, because you won't be able to scroll through it....
