I posted a question about why I have to click 4 times to see my tasks here: http://www.rememberthemilk.com/forums/help/9633/

The answer I got wasn't relevant and was very unhelpful. Sure, you want to supply a page where someone can see published lists. That's great. Give me a different page which shows my tasks, or a login screen if I'm not logged in.

On a related note, this problem wouldn't exist if the cookie authentication wasn't so absurdly low. You aren't a bank. Let me cookie be valid for a month or a year please, not just a few hours. People who are worried about their logins can logout. Please who want to get back to their tasks easily would appreciate not be harassed about login every few hours.

And as my original post said: not have to click click click login click to get to our task list.

Sorry my original answer wasn't helpful.

If you're having to log in every few hours, would it be possible to submit a Logging In & Loading issue report via our support system?

Otherwise, thanks for your feedback!

This still isn't an answer to my question. I would appreciate it if you'd supply a new URL which I can bookmark which won't require me to click several times to login.

The reason for logging in several times a day is documented -- if my IP address changes, you force a new login. I'd really like this to be a preference I can disable -- I use RTM from my laptop, my cell phone, and 2 different desktops. A changing computer is not a security event.

I believe if you bookmark a specific private list, it will ask you to log in if you credentials have expired.

For me, it looks something like this:
https://www.rememberthemilk.com/home/erik/######/

Where ##### = the specific list number. You can find this number in the "print" link on the list detail.
