Is there a way to complete my tasks via email. In other words. Let's say i get reminded about a task. Can i reply to that email with "complete" or something of the sort to complete it instead of actually logging into RTM to find the task and mark as complete?

No, it's only possible to add tasks via email. You can use the Twitter service the way you describe specifically, and any of our other services would let you edit tasks also.
