Managing Monthly Bills

So I don't know about anyone else, but I've got a TON of bill companies that are going green and eliminating paper bills/statements, or charging to receive a paper bill/statement. It drives me NUTS because I always put my bills in the "to be paid" pile by due date until I pay them, and then file them away like a good little organizational nut.
Well, after forgetting those bills that I don't get a paper statement for off and on for a couple months because the e-mail gets lost in my inbox or deleted, or I accidentally deleted the text message, I started a new list in RTM... for bills. I put 'em in by due date, make them repeat every month, and check 'em off when I pay them. It's fantastic! And, since I can link the URL to the task, I never have to worry about finding the website to pay it online or anything like that. It's saved me late fees already!

I do this as well. I originally had my bills listed in Google calendar, but there was no way for me to mark as "done", so this works so much better.
I didn't add the URL, but that's a great tip. Don't forget to add those irregular bills into your list as well - not just the monthly ones. For us it's auto registration, home owners insurance, quarterly life insurance payments, etc.
