Continuing professional development (CPD), annual appraisals, etc

(closed account) says:
Most employers insist that employees take some annual training courses, or otherwise demonstrate their continuing development. When the time for an annual appraisal comes round, you have to remember what you did, when, why, and all sorts of other inconvenient details that need to be documented.

This is a pain, but RTM makes it very easy. Just add a list called Training or CPD and log each relevant activity on the day you carry it out. If you need to say how long each activity took you can use the time estimate and any other details can go in notes. Then you've got a dated record for your appraisal or other documentation with no hassle at all.
