I have one recurring task every morning:
morning-task @work - tag:morning-task-work AND due:today

As you can see I have a query included in the task that bring up the 5 or so task that I do in the morning when I get to work. These are the sub-task that are also set to recurring so they will reappear the next day after I check them off

This keeps my todo cleaner and I can focus on morning task without distraction of other todos that day
