The simplest method that comes to mind would be to save the text you have above as a draft, and then copy and paste it it into a new message each time you use it.

A more elegant method would be to use an autotyping program to plunk down the framework for you, a la...

I've never seen the point of the gmail to rtm? I mean if you can access your gmail account then surely you can access RTM too? Or am I missing the point here?

The one benefit is the URL link to the original document.

Speaking of this extension, the properties are not coming out on separate lines on my email. Is anyone else having that problem

graham.reeds - Here's why I use email to get stuff to RTM. I use a Treo with Goodlink emial client. I've assigned a treo hard key to bring up a prepouplated email with the following:
Subject line - the task
List: work
Priority: 1
Due: today
Tags:

I can quicly edit the fields to susotmize as needed and then fire off an email. While I could log inot RTM and do the same, this is the quickest means I have found for getting stuff in there. Also, in a pinch if I don't have time, I can save my email in draft form and finsh/send it when I get a break.

The non-formatted display has been brought to my attention. If you want the quick workaround, switch to plain-text entry in gmail and it's good to go (that's my default anyway, which is why never noticed the problem in the first place). I don't really have the javascript skills to make it work in the rich-text version, although it can't be that difficult. Any javascript pros out there?

In gmail, go to Settings, Labs and enable Canned Responses

When you reply you will then see a canned responses option near the same location where you would insert an attachement or add a cc.

This was just pointed out to me and It works quite well.

I created a template in Texter (free from the Lifehacker site), which serves the same purpose.
